Malaysia and Taiwan

It has been a very long time since I went on a holiday.. This year, daddy managed to take a super long leave and we decided to go Malaysia and Taiwan.. We went to Pangkor Laut resort and since this resort was owned by daddy's company, our accommodation, meals and spa were all free(: It was fantastic! The room was amazing! The food was mouth-watering! And the SPA was heavenly! If given the choice, I would definitely go back there again!

In Singapore, we are surrounded by mynahs, crows and hopping sparrows.. But in Pangkor Laut, we were surrounded by lots and lots and lots and lots of toucans!

Throughout our entire stay there, the weather was really good!

Their Emerald Bay beach really reflected its name.. The water was really emerald in color and the beach was surrounded by lush trees..

Taiwan

Keelung - Lukang - Taipei

It was winter in Taiwan and I thought that the temperature would be around 16-17 degrees.. Little did I realize that we were spending a lot of time on mountain tops and that it was drizzling and windy for the first 4 days.. I was literally freezing and didn't really enjoy the trip.. However, the food and shopping there was fantastic! Especially those at the night market.. Shilin night market was a little disappointing tho.. Although the temperature in Taipei was about 12-10 degrees, the sun was out and so, it was much better than the time spent in Keelung and Lukang..

I went to Taipei 101 and was kind of disappointed with it.. It doesn't look as impressive as I thought it would be..

Overall, I think that the trip to Taiwan was rather average compared to the trip to Pangkor Laut..

HOLIDAYS(:

It's the end of the year again and many things have happened.. Good things.. Bad things.. However, the past is the past and instead of mulling over the negative ones, we should look forward to the new year.. Next year will be my final year in university and i'm starting to feel a little nervous about it. I have to start finding a job and no longer will I be able to depend on my father financially.. I have already thought of a few jobs that I wanna apply and I hope that I will be able to find one within next year..

Besides all the negative things that I have been through, I have taken another step in my life and have applied for a HDB flat together with Jun. At first, I was really scared of taking this step because once the agreement is signed, there is no going back for at least the next 8 years or so.. But now, I know that I have made the right choice.. Now, I can't wait to choose our flat together.. The place is really lovely with Serangoon reservoir directly behind the flats.. If the artist impression is right, then the place is really going to be very lovely.. Besides the reservoir at the back, there will be a supermarket, coffee shops, restaurants, some shops and a childcare center built within the area itself.. Although it is a little far from the MRT station, there is a bus stop directly outside the area.. Shopping for groceries will also be very convenient in the future..

Initially, I wanted a 5-room flat but because it was a little too pricey, we settled for a 4-room flat.. Luckily, we chose the 4-room over the 5-room because the number of 5-room available is really low and most people will want the 5-room because it was much bigger.. The number of people applying for the 5-room is almost 5 times over-subscribed. The chances of us getting one will be really low compared to getting the 4-room flat.. I am quite satisfied with our queue number for this project and hope that we will be able to get our choice unit(:

As usual, Monday blues.. What's worst then having a philosophy class on a Monday? I tell you! This is by far the WORST philo class I've ever attended!!! Not because of the lecturer, not because of the seemingly horrible and sure-to-fail test but because of 2 fuckers!! SERIOUSLY!!!

They talk as if they're going to punch anyone who retaliate against their talking! (OH! Shouldn't have use the word 'talk'.. Should use the word 'blabbering'!)

Talking about justice! Now, let me tell you my point of justice and injustice(:
1) Having both of you in the class is an injustice to the rest of us.
2) Getting rid of both of you (or maybe stuffing day-old, mouldy, wet and stinky socks into your mouths and then duct tapping both of your mouths shut) will bring justice to the class.
Make sense? Hahahaha!!!

Anyway, my point here is to stop being such a smart-alec! If you don't even understand yourself and your points to argue then SHUT THE FUCK UP!!

OMG! This is so interesting! There's an app for blogger! Hahaha! Maybe I'm just slow but yeah... This is gonna be pretty exciting! Think I'll be blogging more often now(I know I say that many times but it never happens)... I'll try my best tho(:

Anyway, I went to haji lane to 'observe' people.. I know it sounds kind of boring but I think it's pretty interesting.. Didn't know that there were so many shisha shops.. Mostly caucasians doing the shisha-ing.. I didn't really like the smell of it.. Smelt like.......yucks!

Before haji lane, I went to this Japanese restaurant at bugis junction for dinner.. The place looks pretty decent so I thought could give it a try.. I tell you!!! The food is simply HORRIBLE!! AND, it's expensive too! Waste my money! Should have gone to itacho!

Soooo... On the way back home in the train, this fucking china bitch sat beside me and started blasting her YouTube video.. It's freaking annoying! I mean... Go get a earpiece la! OMG! Who wants to listen to your crap cheena show?? Can't stand this kind of people! So inconsiderate!!!!

Gonna stop here for now.. It's 1hr past my bedtime.. Hahahaha!! (It's an inside joke) so it's ok if you laugh at me for sleeping so early... Nightt people!

It's been almost 2 months since i last posted something on this blog.. I doubt anyone reads my blog already.. Well, things haven been going on very smoothly for me.. Not in terms of study but in terms of relationship.. WJ and GL are colleagues.. GL is a guy.. One day, GL messaged WJ at night at about 10+ asking if he can go up to WJ place.. Which guy will message a guy in the middle of the night asking to go up to their place.. I mean if both of you were really close or lets say, best friends and have known each other longer then you have known me, i have absolutely nothing to say.. But how long have both of you known each other for? AND, it does not end here..

When WJ said that he's not at home and he's at my place, GL has the cheek to ask where i stay and wanted to come over.. WTF SERIOUSLY?? Who do you think you are??!! After that incident, i have serious doubts about GL's gender.. I doubt he's that straight.. WJ told him that the reason why GL asked if WJ was at home was because he sent his aunt home and he was in the vicinity.. I mean if that really was the case, why would he want to go to another place just to find WJ? So what if you have a car? Very rich to drive here and there ar? You think petrol free ar? AND it also does not end here..

WJ said that he wanted to go for a holiday.. I know i don't have the right to stop him from going.. He asked all his close friends and none of them could make it.. I thought he will postpone his trip but little did i know, he asked GL along! You should know that i'm already feeling VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY UNCOMFORTABLE with him and yet, you still went ahead and plan the trip.. You even bought plane tickets without letting me know.. You kept lying to me saying that nothing is confirm for this trip! How can i not be angry?! You keep asking me to trust you.. LET ME TELL YOU THIS AGAIN! I TRUST YOU.. I REALLY DO.. IT'S JUST THAT I DONT TRUST THAT FUCKER!!!

You said that you love freedom as much as you love me.. I have nothing to say.. You said you wanted to go for a trip.. I have nothing to say.. But you fucking go with someone whom you jolly well know that i am so FUCKING NOT COMFORTABLE with! If you tell me that you're going with one of your secondary, poly or uni friends, i'll wish you a fun and safe trip.. But now you're going with someone that I have no fucking idea who he is and what kind of person he is.. October is not going to be a good month for me.. I'm so wishing that october will come and go just like that.. Like in a blink of an eye.. Like serious close my eyes and open immediately and october is gone!

Celebrated my grandma's and cousin's birthday last Sunday.. Headed to Coca's restaurant at Takashimaya for steamboat buffet.. Their soup base was quite nice and their food was quite 'light'.. I wouldnt mind going back there to eat again..

Headed over to grandma's place to rest before dinner.. Went to buy ice-cream at The daily scoop and pop by Andrew's place to see see look look.. Haha! I'm in love with his roof top garden(:

Went to watch Harry Potter with Jun at Marina Square yesterday.. The movie was ok-ok only because the producers removed and changed quite a lot of scenes from the book.. It feels like watching a movie with many missing parts and you have to guess why they ended up here or there..

Before the movie started, we had lunch at Sushi Express at Citylink.. They have a wide variety of sushi and it was rather fresh... Maybe because we were there quite early~

This sushi is really yummy..

AUSTRALIA!! I WANNA GO THERE!

But because August is the really off-peak period and it's a little cold and so, there is not enough people to form a tour group.. And if we were to choose free and easy, it's gonna be more expensive.. PLUS, Australia's airport tax is really really really expensive!! A 6D5N trip cost $1388 without tax and with tax, it cost $1838! DAMN!

Our second choice was Bintan's Club Med.. It's $928/pax for 4D3N and it includes breakfast, lunch, dinner for all 4D, land and water activities like snorkeling/diving, sailing, windsurfing, archery, bungy bounce and more... So basically, we dont need to pay anything once we are there.. And Bintan accepts SGD too! Didnt know that~

I wanna try Taiwan but Jiaman didnt want that cause she said it's gonna be really hot... Bali was also one of our choices but I'm a little scared to go there..

It's a really warm day today and just like any other warm day, i'll switch on my air-con and Ricardo will come 'knocking' at my door.. This little boy simply love the air-con and will do anything to be allowed into my room..

He'll usually occupy my bed and i'll have to keep pushing him off..

It's amazing how he uses his paw to 'hold' onto his toy.. There's so many different ways and position to it.. It's like he's holding a lollipop..

School has been rather boring this few days.. Even so, i'm rather impressed by lecturers who can talk CONTINUOUSLY for HOURS WITHOUT STOPPING! The current lecturer that I have can really talk and talk and talk and talk and talk and talk non-stop.. He is so engrossed with talking that he will usually over-shot his teaching time..

Shall endure for another 3 more weeks and it'll be all over.. for now~

It's been ages since I last visited SDC.. The last time I went was when I was in lower primary I think.. Not much changes from what I remembered about 10 years ago.. Most of the displays were under renovation so there wasnt much to see and do..

We found this place where there were many information about different countries and there was this corner where we can fold paper cranes for Japan.. Had a fun time folding and chatting with Jocelyn, Renny and a lady who work there..

I LOVE this Japanese restaurant a lot!! They serve really awesome sushi at affordable prices.. Unlike other sushi restaurants, their rice is warm and really nice.. Their food is really fresh and I will definitely not get tired of eating it..

Well, school has re-open and the first day was terrible.. Had to do a program early in the morning at Cranberra secondary and ended up feeling super tired to pay any attention during lecture..

One of my favourite picture!

As random as it may seems, I visited the zoo the other day with some of my friends... It was a free entry so no complains.. The weather was quite good at first but it started to rain aft about 2hrs.. The rain subsided and we carried on walking around the zoo.. We ended the day with bowling at Marina Square..

Time is something very important to me and I take timing very seriously! However, there are some idiots who think that they own everything and will take their own sweet time to arrive.. HEY! If you wanna meet someone and have already stated the specific timing, you jolly well be on time and not let other people wait for you.. It's fucking torturous to wait for just 1 person especially when you were the one who set the timing... Another thing which really pisses me off is that when you have already settled on a timing, let's say 12, you actually dared to leave home at 12 and not earlier.. Come on la! Do you need to be so selfish? If you have something on and cannot reach on time, at least have the courtesy to call and explain your situation! Dont wait for me to call you! AND! If you're going to be late, please tell the truth and not keep lying, saying that you're on the way when truth is, you have not left the place at all! Fucking irritating to call again after dunno how long and to hear that you are leaving the place soon.. Who do you think you are!?

Today - SENTOSA

I was feeling quite bored, restless and grumpy so I decided to head over to Sentosa with Ricardo to 'freshen' myself up a bit.. The weather was perfect and it was really good to just sit on the sand and see Ricardo enjoying himself(:

Although it's just a date, many 'unhappy' things did happen.. A friend of mine is flying off to the U.S for 1 semester so he organized a small gathering at ECP.. It's a BBQ gathering but the weather didnt seem to approve of us having a BBQ.. Headed over to a friend's place first because he wanted to change his clothes and we decided to cook maggi mee for dinner(: Knew that it was going to rain for quite awhile so we decided to fill our stomach first.. Headed over to ECP at ard 7.30pm and we went over to Macs to hang out for awhile before heading to the BBQ pit.. Played frisbee and chatted left at ard 11pm.. I had plans for the next day but because of some stuffs, it had to be cancelled):

The last day of 2010 was spent with Dear and his family at Siloso beach resort.. Booked a 3day 2nightt stay but decided to extend 1 more nightt.. Had a wonderful time counting down and swimming in the rain(:

Met up with the Deyi ppl after checking out on the 2nd of jan.. Went to watch Gulliver's travels and dinner at Paradise dynasty.. Really missed those crazy moments we had when in secondary school!

1st day at Woofy Nanny

Introducing Brody!! He's one of my favourite dogs.. The other is Butter, a Shetland Sheepdog..
First day of work and it was tiring.. There were 18 dogs in total and it was pretty chaotic when I got there early in the morning.. The dogs started to calm down after awhile and we were brainstorming where to bring the dogs to play... Settled for Katong dog run and once the doggies reach there, it was really crazy.. Big dogs chase small dogs.. Playing fetch and running around.. It started to drizzle but it stopped within a few minutes.. Went back after about 3hrs of fun.. Doggies were all tired by the time they were back at the house.. Washed them up and they were all sleeping within 10mins..
Going skating with doggies on Thursday.. Hope it doesn't rain!!

My first driving lesson

AWESOME!! hahaha.. Had an enjoyable 2hrs learning how to drive.. The instructor was a little nagging at the beginning but aft abt an hour or so, things started to be more and more interesting.. Can't wait to get my license(provided that i can pass the first time)....

Starting work at Woofy nanny tmr.. Am super excited and can't wait to play with the doggies... Hope everything goes smoothly for me...

Met Dear at ION orchard for dinner and we went to Itacho.. Ordered quite a bit of food and the table was too small for all of them.. The first time I went there, the waitress didnt take down my order properly.. Now, the waitress served us 2 chawamushi instead of 1.. Dear was joking that this was their apology for not serving me the octopus the previous round.. Interesting(:

First time being there and I didnt have a good experience.. Waiting time for the food was expectionally long.. Order was being said by the waitress but it wasnt included in the reciept which resulted in my food not being served.. When we asked why isnt my food here yet, the waitress told us that it's not ready yet.. Does that mean she doesnt know that my order wasnt taken down or does that mean she didnt even check and just said it wasnt ready?

Anyway, their Unagi was quite good.. 1 of the best i've tasted so far, I think....

It was just another day and Dear and me decided to head over to Sentosa to make use of the free tickets for the Luge.. We reached Sentosa at around 10am and we left after about 1 1/2hr as the weather was really hot and we didnt really come prepared.. No sun-tan lotion.. No extra clothes to change into.. No towel.. Should have know better!

This little monster is Ricardo.. He's 3 months old and super active.. Ricardo is an angel at times but a monster at nightt when everyone is home.. He will bite and nibble at anything which his little but horrifying mouth can lay on.. Legs, hands, socks, shoes, slippers, floor rag, leaves(my money plant is botak at the bottom!), sofa..... Anything that you can think off.. Everytime you scold him, he will stare at you with his big and 'innocent' eyes and your heart will melt straight away.. Ricardo is also very 'selfish'.. He loves to keep all his toys to himself.. We caught him a few times with 1 ball under his left paw, 1 mini monkey under his right paw and another ball in his mouth.. Ricardo also loves to disturb us during meal times.. He will put his paw on our legs hoping to get some tibits out from us and ignore his own dinner.. Sometimes, it's really difficult to get him to finish his meal.. However, in every little devil, an angel resides and we're waiting for that angel to emerge from him(:

After the trip, we headed to East Coast Park for seafood dinner.. Chose Long Beach and the food there was AWESOME! Love the baby squids, frog legs, baby kailan and CHILLI CRAB!!! OMG! My mouth is starting to water already(: Double YUMS!!

This concert was freaking AWESOME!! The ambience was great.. The sound was great.. And lastly, the singers were GREAT! Andrea Bocelli also hinted that this might be his last concert in Asia.. Feel so blessed and honored to be at his 'last' concert(:

Chinatown and Clarke Quay

Yesterday was the day when mummy's ashes were put to rest at the Church of the Holy Spirit.. There were 6 other families there too and it was a solemn affair.. Prayers were said and holy water was sprinkled.. Finally, mummy's ashes were put into the niche and it was sealed up.. It had been a little more then a month since she passed away but the memories are still as fresh as ever..

Last night, my dad, sis, uncle, cousin, Dear and me went down to Chinatown and Clarke Quay to do a little photography.. It was tiring but fruitful..

It's been a really long time since I last went back to TP.. My purpose of going there today was to help out with the publicity for the skates clinic and of course to meet up with my friends(:

REALLY MISS THEM A LOT!!!

We were all rotting at the booth..haha...

Anyway, the turn out for today's skate clinic registration was quite good.. Quite a lot of people were convinced by us to sign up for it.. The main reason was that there were FREE seal points!

I'm really missing my mum.. Really.. I've been crying quite a lot this few nightts because I still can't seem to accept that she's really gone.. It has almost been a month and the pain is still as strong as ever.. I still remember very clearly what happened on that fateful nightt..

The nurse was just here in the afternoon to give her a routine check up.. She did spot something which didn't seem quite right but she wasn't very sure of it because it wasn't very clear.. The nurse left and quite a few of my relatives were here visiting my mum.. Everything seems like the usual.. Although mummy's speech was quite incoherent, her voice was quite loud.. Everything really seemed so well and so good.. Dinner came and went and I was in the kitchen preparing salad for the Sentosa trip the next day..

All of a suddenly, the maid told me that mummy doesn't look too good.. Her toe nails had started to turn blue and it was getting more and more obviously.. A few minutes later, her finger nails started to turn blue too.. Her legs and hands were getting very very cold.. I was really very scared.. We thought that she could last through another 1-2 more days.. We had no idea that it would be that fast.. Mummy was sweating and tears were coming out of her eyes.. I could still remember clearly how she looked at me.. I could still remember clearly her telling me that I will always be her little darling.. Her breathing intervals started to get longer and longer and she was gone....just like that.... I couldn't believe my eyes.. 1 moment she was fine and the next she was gone..

On the day of her funeral, I remember myself hugging her picture and didn't want to let go.. I thought that if I let go, she really would be gone forever.. When I saw her casket being pushed into the crematorium, I had a suddenly impluse to break through the glass to join her.. I wanted nothing else but just to be with her..

Although memories are what's left of her now, I know that she's with God and that she will no longer need to suffer.. Not now.. Not tomorrow.. Not for eternity..

With a blink of an eye, school has started for me again.. I really really hope that this time round, things will work out well for me and that I can graduate as soon as possible.. I had PSY and ESL lectures today and it went pretty well.. PSY was very interesting while we had our very first diagonistic test for ESL.. It has been a long time since I wrote essays so i'm guessing my marks for this test won't be very good..

School ended at 1pm and I hung around with Michelle and 2 of her friends while waiting for Kailin, Tze Woon, Jasper and Derrick to end lesson.. Went off for lunch with Kailin and the rest while Michelle went off with her friends.. Headed over to Ngee Ann poly's The Makan Place to eat and the food sold there are relatively cheap.. Met up with Jia Man and we chatted for awhile.. Hung around the Makan place and the guys started to talk about NS again.. Do guys after ORD always talk about NS whenever they have the time or is it just the 3 of them?? Haha(:

2009 hasn't been a good year for me, neither has it been for my family.. There were many downs and very little ups.. Many people are writing out their new year's resolution but I won't be writing mine, neither will I be thinking about it..

I went to Pierce reservoir yesterday with my dad, my 2 uncles, cousin and Dear.. The weather was pretty good for only a short while but I enjoyed myself a lot.. This place holds many memories I have with my mum and the things we used to do as a family.......

Like feeding the monkeys before it became an offence..

Went over to Botanical gardens on Christmas day.. Although the weather wasn't exactly that good, I enjoyed myself a lot.. Busy busy busy again.. As some of you might know, my mum passed away on sunday and i've been really busy with the funeral.. It was really tiring and I didn't have any time to let my thoughts run wild.. However, on the day of her cremation, I just didn't want to believe that my mum has already passed on.. I just didn't want to face reality.. It's just so hard to believe that she's already gone.. Dear was with me the whole time and also the whole 3 days when we were having the funeral.. It was quite tiring for him too but he didn't complain.. Thank you dear for being there for me and also thank you to all my friends who were also there for me..

After collecting my mum's remains, my aunty, uncles and cousins came over to our place for a little christmas eve dinner.. It was rather last minute because we thought that mummy would be able to make it pass christmas and so we didn't plan anything.. Anyway, we had a lovely dinner.. Sushi, log ckae, pork ribs, chicken instead of turkey, no ham, salad.......

I've been busy for the past 4 days.. Celebrated mummy's birthday on the 6th, went out with dear on the 7th and 8th and went back to TP to meet up with my friends on the 9th..

For some personal reasons, I won't be posting up the pictures taken during mummy's birthday celebration..
Went to Orchard on the 7th to take pictures of christmas lightings..The results were not very nice..Here are just a few.. Can't upload much cause blogger wouldn't let me):

Next, we went to Bukit Timah hill to trek with 2 of dear's friends on the 8th.. It was quite tiring because I was the only girl and the guys were moving fast so I had a hard time catching up with them.. Took some pictures on the way and we reached the summit in about 2hrs I think.. Seriously tired... I think the best part of the trip was towards the end when we went to take a look at the quarry.. Did some really really stupid things there and am now waiting for all the pictures to be up so that I can post it here.. One word.. HILARIOUS!!!

This black spot is actually a colony of ants so what we did was we took a bottle of 3M insect repellent and sprayed on the ants..

This was the result..

The insect repellent was so acidic that the ants actually melted.. It was quite disgusting..

Good news:

SIM finally sent me a letter and i'm accepted! However, my admission status is that of provisionally.. I still need to submit my TP transcript before everything can be finalized.. Dateline is 26 nov and I hope that everything can be settled by then.. My heart is only half relieved and it will only be fully relieved when everything has been settled..

Bad news:

Mummy has been admitted into hospital again.. This is the 3rd time in 3 months.. I really hope that nothing is wrong with her and that she can be discharged soon..

I'm starting to feel the pressure.. I'm starting to feel the pinch.. Even though it's only 1 week into semester 2, I can't seem to catch up with my work.. It's also depressing to know that you barely have enough time to study and revise.. I can't seem to understand half of what the lecturers are teaching.. With the CDS going on every week, I doubt that i'll be able to manage my studies well enough.. I really hope that the results for my SIM application will come out soon.. I don't wanna suffer like last semester.. Although landing in this course is partly my fault, I don't wanna repeat the same mistake again..

On a lighter tone, the last weekend was good.. I managed to wake up early in the morning and went down to the market to buy crab for Dear to eat.. Managed to cook it without any problems.. It was also my first time cooking chilli crab(: Spent the whole day with Dear and daddy allowed him to stay over for the night.. I was quite surprised that he allowed him to stay.. However, he had to sleep in the spare room.. Well, at least he could stay over.. I really hope that Daddy will allow him to stay over more often..

I have always been told and reminded of this phrase over and over again but somehow or other, I had totally forgotten all about it yesterday.. I knew that it was just a small problem but why did I blew it up? When I saw Keith's sms just now, I felt really scared.. I didn't know that things were that bad.. After talking with him on the phone, I felt guilty.. Very guilty.. Things could have be different but because of 1 single action, I had caused him to feel so traumatized.. I really had no intention of causing any of this.. I really don't wish to lose Keith but I also need to think if I can control my emotions and actions the next time round.. I really don't wish for this to happen again.. How could I be so stupid!? It really was just a small matter!!

This IS a lesson learnt and it is a really hard one..

Today wasn't exactly great.. It was the first day of school and lessons end at 7pm.. I decided to ask Keith to meet me for dinner and he said ok and would be there by 7.30pm or earlier.. In the end, when I ended lessons at 7pm and called him, he had just left home and was going to take the lift down.. I felt really fustrated at that point of time.. You said that you will meet me by 7.30pm and you actually left home at 7pm?? You keep saying that you can reach by 7.30pm but in the end what happened?? Your reason for leaving home so late was that you were chatting with your sister.. Is not that I don't allow you to chat with her.. I just want you to take note of the time.. You can have the whole night and so many other days and time to chat with her but I only have limited time with you! Can't you understand this simple thing? You even said that you wanted to see what my reaction was.. What happens if you are working and your boss asked you to go for a meeting at 7.30pm and you were late and the reason you gave was that you were chatting with your sis and you also wanted to see your boss's reaction??

I'm not trying to be make things difficult for you or what.. I just want you to know the importance of timing.. I know that sometimes i'm also late for meetings but I don't leave the house at the last minute..

Went out with Dear today to collect the kite which I ordered from a blogshop.. Layanginthesky.. Well, all I can say about the kite is that it looks like a second hand item.. I paid $7, travel from Bishan all the way to Boon Lay and all I get was this piece of lousy quality kite.. Not that the design is bad or what.. Is just that there are holes here and there and it looks like someone had actually stepped on top of it before.. Seriously disappointed..

Anyway, we tested out the kite somewhere near Dear's house and it flew well.. No strings broken and the kite is still intact.. Well, there wasn't much wind too so I guess if the kite really managed to break free, I'll scream.. HAHA!

I ordered Mac for dinner yesterday and when it came, I saw this on the paper bag..

BEACH TENNIS!

I didn't know that there was something like that..
Sounds interesting right?
There's beach volleyball, beach soccer and who would have thought of beach tennis!
I did a little research to find out how it was played and there it is..

It’s like regular tennis except it’s played on a regulation beach volleyball court. Using tennis racquets, two players on each team volley back and forth, hitting a slightly depressurized tennis ball directly over the net without letting it bounce... it’s hard to make the ball bounce on sand! One hit per team is all that’s allowed.
Your team scores a point each time your opponents hit the ball outside the lines or let it hit the sand.

I had my CIP yesterday at Singapore turf club and it was a 2 day 1 night thing..
Met up with Shimin, Shereen and Jolyn at Tampines mall to have dinner..
Reached school at around 6pm and headed over to the turf club..
Reached the place at around 7.30pm and we started packing the breakfast pack at around 8+ close to 9..
We finished the packing at around 11+ and started slacking around after that..
Managed to sleep for only 2 hours before continuing with the rest of our CIP..
Overall, I find it a waste of time and it was rather boring..

Jun came over to meet me and we went off for lunch together..
Headed home and I took a short nap..
Jun started to play with my sis's tortoises and he keep bullying them):

Watched the F1 race at nightt and Jun went home after that..

It's the holidays now and there's not much things going on..
Results came out yesterday and even though I managed to pass all, I don't feel the sense of satisfaction..
It has been a tough journey since the start of the semester and i'm questioning my abilities..

I went to SIM today and met up with Jiaman..
The purpose was to find out about their undergraduate degree programs..
I came across one which I like and i'm wondering if I should give up Biotechnology for this course..
3 years to get a degree..
Tempting isn't it?
But i'm wondering if I can make it..
If I can't, I don't have a diploma to help me..
How??

Should I just continue with my diploma or apply for the undergraduate programme?
Well, I have until 6 of october to decide..

Went back to Deyi yesterday to visit all my teachers and to meet up with some ex-classmates..

Had a great time chatting with some of them..

Went over to OCC with Jm, Hy, Leon, Sr, Zw, Murray and Joel for bowling followed by pool..

Rochelle and Vince came much later and I managed to take a picture with THE PIG(:

Haha! She came when I was about to leave so we didn't had much catching up..

TCC's items were a little too pricey so we decided to just order drinks..

Went for skating today in school and I had a surprised birthday celebration..

Had a class BBQ at east coast park on friday..

Went over to Zahirah's house in the late afternoon and played with her baby sister..

Left the place at around 4.30pm and cabbed over to ecp..

I'll be uploading the pictures of the BBQ on facebook soon..

Exams are over and there's not much things for me to do except going out with friends...
I'll be going back to Deyi tomorrow for teacher's day celebration..
Hope to meet all my ex-classmates..

Isn't this puzzle cute!

Today was the last day of my semester exams and I think that overall, I didn't do very well..
I'm expected to fail 1 or 2 subjects and i'm prepared to take the supp paper..
After the paper, a few of us started to discuss about tomorrow's class BBQ and we went over to Toa payoh NTUC to buy the chicken wings and some other neccessary items..
Jun and I went off for Sakae lunch while the rest went over to Zahirah's house to marinate the chicken..
I was supposed to go over to Zahirah's house after lunch but was feeling very tired and I also wanted to get something at AMK hub..
It turned out that it was out of stock again..
It's so irritating..
When you want to get something, it's always out of stock or that it's not the right colour and size..
When you don't want to get it, it's always there right infront of you..
Well, nevermind..
I'll try my luck again some other time..
This time, i'll go town and search for it..

Jun came over as usual and we spent the day watching documentaries..

HAP exam on monday and i'm 3/4 complete..

Can't wait for thursday to come..

My dear uncle came over specially to cook crab and shellfish for us to eat..

YUMS!!

Well, this is how my day was spent..

10% sleeping..

30% studying..

20% slacking..

40% youtubing..

Have been to engross in documentaries now..

Managed to watch finish the whole series of Walking with beasts..

Really interesting and fascinating..

Exam is just 4 days away and i'm still in the slacking mode..

Gotta change my mode quickly, if not i'll end up taking the sub-paper..

What does it mean when a guy says "I love you"?
The first thing which usually comes to a girl's mind would be "Is he being true?"

In the past, I wouldn't have thought about that..
In the past, I would have broken up with a guy over even the smallest issue..
In the past, I wouldn't have trash things out..
In the past, I wouldn't have confide all my problems..

But now, Jun has really make me change a lot..
I'm more willingly to speak out to him..
I'm more willingly to discuss things with him..
I'm more willingly to confide in him with all my problems..

However, our age gap still pose a problem..
At times, it feels like we're from 2 different worlds..
At times, I feel neglected while he's busy with his CCA..
He knows my friends but I don't know his because of my curfew..
I can't stay out too late at night and I can't stay over at his place..

After talking with Jun just now, I realised that i'm still as immature as ever..
I don't allow him to do the things which he likes for fear of being neglected..
How selfish can I get?
I asked him what he hoped to achieve in his CCA since he told me once that he no longer care about it..
I was ready to hear answers like "To change the management system" and stuffs like that but I was wrong..
His answer was just 1 word..
FRIENDS
His answer makes me feel ashame of myself..
I feel that i'm stopping him from making friends..
I really should change my mindset..

I'm just glad that I have a boyfriend who is so caring and understanding..

Went to school for 2hours today for CSAS make-up lesson..

It was quite fun and hilarious..

Played netball with Irena and Shimin for awhile before heading off to AMK hub to watch UP with Jiaman, Huiying and Zhaowei..

Currently studying Biochemistry now..

Hope that everything I study today will enter my brain..

I think I sort of pissed Jun last night with the way I talk..

An apology

People tend to judge someone by their first impression..
For me, it was the same..
The first time I met her I thought," Hmm.. We should be good friends."
But that was only for the first week of school orientation..
She was the first person I knew and also the first person to be condemned by me..
Why?

It was all because of 1 sentence which she said..
For a long time, I thought she was just being very self-centred..
BUT..

I just realised today that she was actually quite the opposite..
Working to support yourself and schooling at the same time is something which I don't think I would be able to do..
Sharing your family's financial burden is also not an easy thing to do but she managed..
Here I am happily spending the money which my parents earn while others have to work their guts out to survive..

I feel rather guilty after hearing what she has to go through..

I feel rather guilty for condemning her and talking about her behind her back..

Now I know why she's behaving in that manner..

Why do people keep pets?

Pets can be a form of comfort to you and they can also be a good companion..

Many people buy pets on impluse because at that point of time, they find them cute and adorable..

But have they ever wondered about the cost of keeping a pet?

Have they ever consider seriously about keeping a pet?

Many a times, pets are abandoned because their owners could no longer afford to keep them or that they feel that it is becoming a burden..

In this case, person A bought a guinea pig and left it at his girlfriend's house as he was serving his NS..

In the beginning, beddings and straw were given to the guinea pig and her cage was kept clean..

However, the beddings and straw became less and less until there was just a handful of straw..

When asked why, the answer was because beddings were expensive and that he could not afford to keep buying them..

The guinea pig's fur started to turn from white to brown and it started to stick together as urine and shit started to accumulate..

So the question is,

If person A was serious about keeping a pet, would he allow his guinea pig to suffer?

Has he ever considered about the cost of keeping a guinea pig?

If he could not afford, then why in the first place did he buy 1?

A guinea pig is a living animal with a life of it's own and not a toy to be tossed around..

Have person A ever considered about the guinea pig's feelings?

Or does he thinks that the guinea pig has no feelings of it's own?

If he really could not afford to keep the guinea pig, then give it away to someone who would care for the guinea pig and who could afford to keep one..

Le moment où j'ai vu le message, je ne pouvais pas m'empêcher de penser peur.
J'ai commencé à penser à ce que se passerait-il si j'avais perdu vous.
Je n'ai jamais vu vous aussi malade et impuissant devant.
Je pensais que ça allait être bien après avoir été hospitalisé, mais il s'est avéré qu'il ne l'était pas.
Les choses n'étaient pas aussi simple que cela car je pensais que ce serait.
Après avoir entendu votre voix tout à l'heure, je ne pouvais pas m'empêcher de penser à nouveau peur.
Je voudrais pouvoir faire quelque chose pour vous aider, mais je suis tout aussi impuissant que vous êtes.
Je ne peut que souhaiter de tout mon coeur qu'il ne se passerait rien pour vous.
Jusqu'à maintenant, je ne sais pas encore quand vous serez libéré.
Papa ne voulait même pas me laisser vous rendre visite.
Avec les examens juste au coin de la rue, je ne sais pas comment je vais me concentrer.

Je pensais venir juin serait plus aujourd'hui, je ne se sentent pas si mal, mais j'avais tort.
Je sais que ce n'est pas sa faute, mais je ne pouvais pas aider à se sentir seul et triste.
Mon esprit était dans un tourbillon d'aujourd'hui et je ne savais pas ce que je faisais la plupart du temps.
J'ai pensé que je pourrais lui parler au téléphone mais il semble qu'il est très occupé à l'école commence demain.
Juin a dit qu'il m'appeler au 10.15pm, mais il est maintenant 10.24pm.
Je pense qu'il est vraiment très occupé.

HAPPY BELATED NATIONAL DAY and HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY GENESON!
Met Jun in the late morning at Buangkok NTUC and did a little grocery shopping for bbq..
Bought the neccessary stuffs and went to Jun's house to prepare the food...
It was the first time that we couldn't buy charcoal..
Jun had to run all over the place to find just 1 bag of charcoal but they were all out of stock..
In the end, we bought the charcoal at Vivocity..
Took a cab to Tanjong beach and I went to disturb Shereen while Jun set up the fire..
Started bbq-ing and brought food over for Shereen to eat..
When we were going to finish, a lifeguard came over and told us that bbq-ing was not allowed on the beach and Jun told him that we were going to finish and he left..
Shereen was like laughing at us..
Packed up and left Tanjong beach at around 4+ and went over to Jun's cousin's house warming..
Something happened and I had to leave immediately and Jun accompanied me to Bishan..

Currently slacking in the comfort of my air-conditioned room..
Jun came over today and he was like practically sleeping all the time..
Watched Red Cliff and I can't wait to watch the second part but I guess i'll have to wait until after semestral exams..
Did some studying today and I managed to complete the last chapter of PIPC and OC..
Still need to put in a little more effort for HAP..
Haven't touch BC yet and i'm hoping to finish it by the end of this week..
MAS is still hopeless...
Even so, I still feel that i'm only 50% ready for the exams..
Gotta work harder!!!

Where shall I start?
Let's start with lunch at ITAS..
As usual, we were looking for a place to seat when we spotted a table with 2 packets of tissue..
Thinking that which idiot would use tissue to reserve the table and thought that someone had just simply forgotten to take the tissue back, we were prepared to sit down when a girl came walking to us and said that the table belonged to her and that she reserved them with the 2 packets of tissue..
The first thing that came to my mind was FUCK!
I was so tempted to ask everyone to sit down and ignore her but I kept my mouth shut...
Oh..
And did I mentioned that the girl was with her friends too?
I mean can't 1 of you sit down at the table while the rest get their lunch and after that you go and get your lunch?
Is it THAT difficult?
Continuing with the story.........
We went walking further into ITAS and found another table where everyone was starting to leave and do you know what?
This group of ASSHOLES just walked off without clearing their utensils when it's stated SO CLEARLY that you are supposed to clear them YOURSELF!!!
OK.. Nevermind.. Forget it..
We were thinking of buying take away when we finally spotted a clean table without packets of tissues on it..
Like finally?!
I just can't stand this kind of people..
Where have their manners gone too??

Had OC test after lunch and i'm gonna flunk it..
Mixed up all my equations and I think the only question which I know how to do is question 1...
Seriously...
I think I need to spend more time on OC already..
Been spending too much time on Biochemistry and HAP..
PIPC test this friday and I hope that I can make it..

Today was really a bad day for me..

Shouldn't have taken my medicine in the morning..
Felt really drowsy and light-headed..
I was leaning on Shereen with my eyes close and 1 lecturer asked me if I needed to go to the sick bay..
I was like, erm... no thank you...
Finally felt better when it was nearing to the end of school..
Met Jun at Tampines interchange and went off to have dinner together..

Yup..
Blogger is still being very irritating now..
I've started to ignore this blog for quite awhile as school work is getting more and more demanding..
I realise that with just a little more hard work and effort, passing all my modules isn't that difficult at all..
I guess i'm really regretting now that I didn't study hard enough for my term test..
With the semesteral exams just round the corner, I guess i'll just have to be a little crazy and mug real hard..
It's tiring I know but this is the only thing which will help me pass considering the fact that I did real badly for term test..

We had some talks held by people from the different universities locally and overseas..
I have a goal now..
I wanna further my studies at the University of Adelaide..
I know it's still a long way more but I just wanna set a goal early..
I dunno if this will be a good choice studying overseas because you'll have to leave your family and friends behind and travel to a foreign country all by yourself..
I'm also scared about the people there being racist..
I guess I shall just have to consider this choice seriously..
